San Francisco by boat

Sailing under Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco Bay is a highlight of arriving at the Port of San Francisco. Luxury cruise ships dock near Fisherman’s Wharf at Pier 35.

The city is the embarkation and debarkation point of many operators’ Alaskan or Mexican Riviera itineraries. Taxis and public transportation such as BART, buses and Muni Metro Streetcars are readily available at the dock; the city center is only a few minutes’ ride away.
